Cutler is the gateway to the Bay of Fundy & Machias Island--the nesting grounds for Atlantic Puffins. A tour boat is available & landings on the island can be arranged. Campobello Island, with a large provincial park and the Roosevelt Summer Cottage is a short drive away. Lighthouse enthusiasts can tour over a dozen active & preserved lighthouses in the area. Bald eagles soar overhead, while moose, deer & other wildlife wander the woods surrounding the Inn.
Our 1873 New England farm house has been restored to its original condition. We offer 3 tastefully decorated bedrooms, each with bath ensuite and small sitting room. Relax in a queen-sized feather bed, each room has a satellite television, smoke-free for the comfort of all our guests. The living room is open to house guests only and a full breakfast will be offered in our Victorian dining room. Lunch & dinner (open to public) are also available in our dining room Cafe, featuring the finest, fresh-caught seafood from our local waters. Gourmet meals are prepared by graduates of the Maine Culinary Institute. All local and organic products, as available, will be used--special attention to vegetarians.
